In addition to microfinance products, Star Ways Microfinance Limited is also into real estate, focusing on affordable housing and commercial property solutions that support economic development in Malawi. This real estate initiative complements our microfinance services, providing integrated solutions for clients seeking housing or business premises, thereby furthering our mission of economic empowerment and poverty reduction

CEO - Mr. Chabwera is a proven top performer with vast experience in Micro finance organizations. With a unique blend of purchasing, managerial and operational expertise with advanced skills in strategic planning, international negotiations, product development and resource allocation. Innovative inspirational leader of microfinance, NGO and Cooperatives operations with a proven ability to drive business growth through aggressive sales initiatives, market trend analysis and market penetration. Talent for designing and launching programs that produce profitable lines targeted to niche markets, delivering significant sales growth and profitability.
Shaibu Chipereka
Chief Operations Manager - With Over 10 years’ experience in Micro finance and cooperative sector Shaibu Chipereka has enough experience to manage the operations of Star Ways Micro finance Limited.
He has previously held several positions at Finca Malawi including the positions of Branch Manager at Finca Malawi and Sacco Manager at M-unity Sacco where he played pivotal roles in the growth of the institutions.
He effectively manages the operations of the institutions by providing leadership in the department by among other things seeing to it that there is a cordial relationship between the clients and the organizations hence maintaining a very high repayment rate.
Shaibu Chipereka holds a BSc in Business Management and Entrepreneurship and also an advanced Diploma in Business Administration from Malawi College of Accountancy. He is currently studying for Masters degree in Business Administration at Malawi School of government.
Patience Khonje
HR - As Director of Human Resources, Ms. Khonje brings a wealth of expertise and a strategic vision to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. With certifications in purchasing and supply she is well adept at aligning human resource strategies with business objectives, ensuring the company not only meets its operational goals but also fosters a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Ms. Khonje’s commitment to empowering employees and optimizing processes, positions her as a key leader in driving the company’s mission to provide accessible financial services to undeserved communities
